Sandra M. Bennett

Sandra Marie Bennett was called from labor to reward on September 11, 2015 at northeast Methodist hospital, San Antonio, TX. Sandra was born on November 26, 1955 to Doyle and Wanda Lynn Riley in Pasadena, TX. She attended public school in Pasadena, graduated high school in 1973. After high school she attended nursing classes, where she obtained her CNA license. Sandra was employed with Fredericksburg nursing home and several others until her health began to fail. William Bennett and Sandra were married November 23, 1977 in San Antonio, TX. at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church ( Rev L.E. Bennett performed their ceremony). They were happily married for 18 years. Sandra was a member of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed her plants and word search puzzles. She started as a novice cook but over the years she perfected the craft. Sandra was preceded in death by her father (Doyle) and mother (Wanda Lynn). She is survived by her husband William Bennett, her 2 sons John Riley (Brenda) and Doyle Riley (Marilyn), her 1st cousin Marilyn Ezzel, who raised her, one grandson Alewine, and a host of relatives and friends. Nephew- William J. Bennett, (wife Kayisha, children- Makayla, Mckenvia, Jordan and Joseph). Nephew- Franklyn P. Bennett, (wife-Lillian, children- Erica, Blake and Joshua). Niece- Kaylen Bennett, (children- Blessing, Kaysia, Kelath, Keylan, and Kaelif
