SENORITA SARA MARIE CANTU 11-11-199209-04-2013 Sara was born to Mr. and Mrs. Fidel Cantu (Margarita Guerra) in San Antonio, Texas at the San Antonio Medical Hospital. Sara met this world with some medical challenges that continued to plague her throughout her lifetime. She and her parents had a loving relationship. She leaves to mourn her memory both parents, Fidel and Margarita and her sister, Christina Guerra. She has one living grandparent, Amelia Guerra. Other grandparents have preceded her in death. She also had a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, the Peaches Foster Family, doctors, nurses, therapist and all the staff of Southside ISD, San Antonio and tons of other friends that have passed her way. Sara is famous for her two-sentence demands such as "sit down", "come here", "down please", "watch TV" and the most famous of all "hungy (hungry) now". She could command a fleet of people with these simple sentences. She never had a bad day even on those days when she did not want to cooperate with her caregivers. She was ever cheerful and could sing any song. We never knew what song or how sad it would sound, but she sang anyway. Everyone who met Sara loved her and the things she would say. She liked to go out to eat with the gang and would wave and say hello to everyone she met. Sara liked counting and singing the Barney I love You Song. Sara started having medical problems in May and continued her gallant fight until the last hospitalization September 2, 2013. This time the battle was too much and she met the Lord on her way to Heaven on September 4, 2013. We say to Sara, go girl and "sit down" you deserve this rest. We love you and will miss you every day. Your Family

Guestbook

  1. I am very sorry about your loss. Although I did not know Sara, I can relate to

the deep pain that comes with losing someone you love. My brief word of comfort comes from God’s word

in Revelation 21:4–“And he (God) will wipe out every tear from your eyes

and death will be no more…” Job

14:15–“You will call and I myself shall answer you.” Knowing our dear God will bring back to life

our precious loved ones can bring us hope and peace. It is my wish you will find some comfort in

    these words.

  2. Thank you we will miss our baby girl and baby sister. She will be with my families and her daddy together.
