Selfa F. Jaime

Mrs. Selfa Flores Jaime passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, devotion, and family. She was born on March 11, 1942, in Villa Unión, Coahuila, Mexico, to Salvador Flores Hernandez and Concepción Moreno Zambrano.

Known throughout her region for her beauty and warm spirit, Selfa captured the heart of her beloved husband, Marcelino Jaime Vizcaíno, with whom she shared 66 wonderful years of marriage. Together they built a life centered on love, dedication, and family.

Selfa was a hardworking woman who took great pride in caring for her home and loved ones. She was an exceptional cook who expressed her love through the meals she prepared for family and friends. She also had a true green thumb and found joy in gardening, nurturing plants the same way she nurtured those around her—with patience, care, and tenderness. Her kindness, strength, and generous heart made her the cornerstone of her family.

She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Marcelino Jaime Vizcaino; her daughter, Dalia E. (Sergio) Rios; grandchildren, Cindy Barron (Cleme), Patricia Rios, Sergio Rios Jr. (Melody), Adrianna Jaime, Tara Morales, and Preston Morales; great-grandchildren, Jazmin Rios, David Jeremiah Gonzalez, Haileyann Carey, Adriel Barron, Caleb Barron, Sergio Barron, Moses Barron, Isaac Rios, Olivia Grace Rios, Nicolas Ezra Rios, and Jackson Silver; and great-great-granddaughter, Camila Barron. She also leaves behind numerous extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Salvador Flores Hernandez and Concepción Moreno Zambrano, as well as her son, Baldemar F. Jaime, and daughter, Connie J. Morales.

Selfa will be remembered for her beauty, her strength, her devotion to family, and the love she shared so freely. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
