Susan "Sue" Jean Clark

Susan Jean Clark was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 24th, 1954 to Colonel Frank H. Smith and Suzanne P. Smith; whom both proceeded her in death. She was their elder child. She married into the Clark name on July 7th, 1973. Susan gave birth to two children; a son and a daughter. She had an unwavering love for her children and raised them in the ways of Jesus Christ. Susan would often refer to herself as an 'imperfect christian'. She always wanted to help all of God's creatures, even if she didn't have the means to do so, and was beloved by her family, friends, coworkers, and community. Susan's beautiful spirit was taken from this Earth on February 1st, 2017. She is survived by her Daughter, Michelle Clark; Son-in-Law, Carlton Hammonds; Granddaughters, Arvilia Clark, Skylar Clark; Nephew, Peter Smith; Niece, Phoebe Smith; and several extended family members whom all loved her unconditionally. She will be missed and never forgotten.
