Sylvia Lozano entered into heavens gates on September 26, 2021 at the young age of 56. She was born on January 4, 1965 in San Antonio, Texas to Cruzita Lozano.
Sylvia was a graduate of Highlands High School, class of 1983. She was a dedicated member of Sunny Slope Baptist Church, where she grew spiritually, as her faith was important to her. She was a youth leader, enjoyed working with the youth, singing in the choir and participated in the church plays. In her younger years, she played baseball and enjoyed roller-skating. She also worked for HEB and was very proud to be the first-place winner for bagger of the year.
She worked as a clerk for SAISD for 25 years where she later retired. She also attended college for 3 years, where she studied computers. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling to her favorite places. She enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and the San Antonio Spurs which were her absolute favorite teams. When she entered heaven, she was reunited by her mother: Cruzita, step-father: Manuel Talamantes Sr., and brother: Adolf Garibay Jr.
Her memories will be cherished and kept alive by her daughter: Natalie Asevedo, sister: Dolores Talamantes, brother: Manuel Talamantes Jr, sister: Norma Vargas (Santiago), nieces and nephews Kristy De Leon (Genaro) Vanessa Wiggins, Sienna & Berlynn De Leon, Gabriel Delgado (Maria), Crystal Asevedo, Victoria Vargas (William) Alvina Vargas (Josue), Elijah & Josiah Delgado, Paisley Mae Delgado, Vanellope & William Leinweber, and Vicente Ochoa.
She will be greatly missed by family, including uncles, aunts, cousins, and many friends.

Wow don’t know what to say my friend Sylvia Lozano you we’re taking from us so soon and young we we’re elementary friends to now we hung out at there grandma’s house all the time we new each other’s family for many years there’s many to name but it was Barbara,Cathy ,Norma and so on .. you’ll be greatly miss my friend until we see each other … 🙏🙏🙏
