Virginia Dawn Hopkins

virginia hopkins
Virginia Hooper Hopkins tragically left us while doing what she loved, driving. She was accompanied by her Chihuahua Pudge. She's preceded in death by her dear husband, Pastor Vardieman Hopkins. Born in California, she spent most of her life in Amarillo Texas surrounded by family and friends. When she moved to Bulverde in the later part of her life, she and her husband had no trouble finding new friends and building a new church family. She was a spirited woman full of life and love. She was blessed with an artistic side and enjoyed painting, writing, and listening to music. Virginia was a beloved mother, grandmother, wife, sister, and friend. To cherish her memory are her children, Rhonda R. Hopkins, Chip L. Watson, Roberta L. Townsend, Rebecca L. Young, James E. Hopkins, and Bunny Pumphrey; grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Cassie, Kendall, James Lee, Steven, Aaron, Lauren, Courtney, Jacen, Thomas, Ronnie, Sarah, Timothy, Kevin, Cameron, and Chloe; many other loving family and friends. Virginia loved God and had God given love for people. She had a personality that would light up a room and now her light will be missed by all those who love her.

Guestbook

  1. Virginia was a good person who left behind a legacy that will g on until the day her grandchildren all join her in heaven. Her legacy is the light in each of her kids and grandkids as well as her other family and friends.

She is now in Heaven with her companion dog as well as her husband and those others who went before her. She will be waiting for those she left behind to join her when their times comes. Until then, I am sure she is looking down at all of us with a smile on her face knowing she did good when raising her children.

  2. I agree with Paula when she said ‘Virginia was a good person who left behind a legacy that will g on until the day her grandchildren all join her in heaven. Chip, and his siblings turned ut great due tp her TLC. She may have been witty, but she was smart in how she raised her kids.. They were raised with values.

  3. I’m truly sorry for your loss. During this mist difficult time, You may ask yourselves why do bad things happen to good people? I urge you to please watch this short video that explains things so clearly.
