  6. I’m so sorry to hear of Warren’s death. What a wonderful man he was! I am a fellow attorney, but I met Warren when I took his class (subject: social justice [of course!]) at ALIR. Intelligent, thoughtful, compassionate was Warren. RIP friend.

  7. I was crushed to hear that Warren had passed away. I met him when his wife, Carol, asked me to be his Godfather when he came into the Catholic Church. I really didn’t know Warren, but knew Carol and was happy to accommodate her request. Warren and I became friends after that, and would see each other either at the Courthouse or at the meetings of the San Antonio Catholic Lawyers Guild. He was a wonderful, caring, gentle man, with a great sense of humor, and an extremely good and highly respected attorney. He was incisive and analytical in his thinking, always ready to enter into a probing discussion at any time. He will be always be in my thoughts and prayers, knowing that we have a great advocate praying for all of us in Heaven. God bless and keep you, and may you rest in peace, Warren.

  8. I am shocked to learn of Warren’s death! I met Warren when I became a founder’s lion member through Roland Keller. Warren was more than a gentlemen. He always treated me the ultimate of respect and I will always love and respect him for that. You will be missed!

  9. To The Weir Family, You have my deepest sympathy. May you find comfort in knowing that very soon Jesus’ words at John 5:28,29 and Revelation 21:4, will be fulfilled. 15. My dear friend Warren was an absolutely wonderful friend, attorney and loving father and husband. He made a difference in the lives of union members of AFSCME Local 2399 for almost 25 years. He was a shoulder to lean on and he had a calming personality that brought reason and rhyme to many difficult situations faced by working people. Thank you my dearest friend for your wonderful friendship and your love for the “little guy”.

  16. Karen, We are sorry for the loss of your brother. He sounds like a wonderful man. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Mike and Rosemary Samuelson

  17. I wanted to send My sincere condolences on the death of your dad, Mrs. Karen. I also, wish your family my deepest sympathy. Love You and Wish Only– God’s Blessings, Danna

  18. I was honored to call Warren a friend both as fellow servant in ministry to the homeless and as a Lion. San Antonio and our world is a better place as a result of Warren’s life. May you be comforted in your loss with the knowledge that the God Warren loved and served loves each of you,

  19. It has taken me these many years to finally put something together on Warren. He was a very good friend. We had a lot of days and nights together working and politicking. I enjoyed many nights watching the boxing on TV at his house, and that was even before Carol was an Attorney. I love both of them, and miss Warren. He was a mentor, a friend, and I tell everyone I know he was one of the best five lawyers I have ever known, but he was an even better person. I pray for all his family, and know there is a Weir mansion in heaven.
