  1. To the Gilliam and Gray families, I send my heartfelt and sincere condolences to all of you. Uncle Willie was a trustworthy, funny, kind, generous, and caring man who would do anything to help someone who was willing to help themselves. I first met him while I was in school in Fort Worth Texas, attending college for my first time. I immediately had a kindship and love for this man that I had never met up until that day when I was only 18 years old. I will never forget our conversations, his joy at the family that he was raising there, and his pride in his grand children and their futures that he invisioned for them. If cloning were allowed, I would surely have more than one Uncle Willie created, so we could all enjoy him and his life at the same time. He had so much to give, but unfortunately, there was only one of him, and so many of us that needed and wanted him around us. You have been extremely fortunate to have such a man in and around you for such a long period of time. May your many memories give all of you comfort and joy when you think back how special he was and how special his life was. Sincerely, Benny G. Jacks Son of his sister – Shirley Gilliam Jacks

  2. Our brother wished us no last farewell nor even said goodbye, Our brother was gone before we knew it,and only God knows why. Our brother’s life was full of fun, laughter and even kindly deeds; A helping hand to all in need. No finer person this world could behold. It broke our hearts to lose him But our brother did not go alone, For part of us went with him,The day God called him home.
