William J. Lane passed in peace Monday, November 5, 2018 at 5:04 p.m. at the age of 86 at Brooke Army Medical Center. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Pranom Lane; children: William, Jr., Kenneth, Jacqueline, and Jay; stepdaughters: Regina Noland and Sang Sweeney; grand children: Simone, Sparkle, Megan, Zachary, Anthony, Charisse, and Michael Ibajo.
William is a veteran of the Vietnam War and proudly served in the United States Air Force for 22 years upon retirement in San Antonio.

My Condolences to the family. I am so honored to have been able to take care of Mr. Lane this past year and get to know he and his family. Thank you for allowing me to come in weekly to care for Mr. Lane and also making me a part of the family. He will forever be in my heart. Nurse Green

I am the eldest of all his grandchildren whom are Sparkle Scott, Simone Lane, Anthony(Tony) Lane, Charisse Lane and Michael Ibajo Lane. Great great children Destiny Lane and Sa’Riyah Demps. His four children are William Lane Jr., Kenneth Lane, Jacqueline Lane and Anthony Lane. May his soul rest in peace. He was a great man and father! He also served his country well retiring after 22 years of Air Force Service as a SSGT. My grandfather lived a fabulous life filled of love and joy! He loved all his family and we loved him as well!
