Dorothea Linette Chavez

Dorothea Linette Chavez went to be with our Lord on Monday, June 2, 2025 at the age of 87. Born on February 13, 1938 in Amarillo, Texas, Dorothea was the cherished daughter of the late Ben Chavez and Madeline Martinez Chavez.

Dorothea was a woman of deep faith and compassion. Her warmth and kindness touched all who knew her. She had a joyful and social spirit and found great happiness in spending time with others, especially in her frequent visits with the Nuns, whose fellowship she deeply cherished.

She also enjoyed simple pleasures in life, often finding comfort and joy in a good movie. Her presence brought light and laughter, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.

Dorothea will be remembered as a loving soul whose faith, generosity, and zest for life remain a lasting inspiration.
