Born in: Mobile, Alabama
Resided in: San Antonio, Texas

Pamela Fatima “Tina” Duncan, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2026, surrounded by her beloved son. Tina was born in Mobile, Alabama, to the late Robert Dembo Jr. and the late Clarissa Dembo. From the very beginning of her life, Tina embodied grace, resilience, and a quiet strength that would define her journey and touch countless lives.

On March 11, 1969, Tina entered into holy matrimony with the love of her life, the late Reid Duncan Sr. Their union was one built on faith, commitment, and devotion. Together, they shared years of companionship, family, and shared dreams that would leave a lasting legacy.

Tina lived a life filled with love, humility, and kindness. Known by many as the “private sister,” she cherished peaceful moments spent enjoying her favorite music videos and television shows. Though reserved in nature, her presence was powerful, her warmth and compassion could be felt without words. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures and offered love freely to those fortunate enough to know her.

A woman of profound conviction, Tina was a faithful member of St. Joseph’s Downtown Catholic Church and St. Peter Claver Ladies Auxiliary. Her faith guided her actions and sustained her through life’s joys and challenges. She walked with quiet confidence, trusting God every step of the way.

Tina dedicated many years of her life to the medical profession, where she served unwaveringly as a caregiver. In this role, she exemplified patience, empathy, and supreme dedication. Caring for others was not just her profession, it was her calling. Through her gentle touch and compassionate heart, she provided comfort and dignity to countless individuals and families during times of need.

In her later years, Tina found great joy in retirement. She treasured time spent with her family and cherished visits from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. These moments brought her priceless happiness and filled her heart in ways words could never fully express. Family was her pride, her strength, and her greatest blessing.

Though our hearts grieve the profound loss of Tina, we find comfort in the memories she leaves behind. Her love, laughter, and quiet wisdom will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Her life was a testimony of faith, service, and unconditional love that will never fade.

The legacy of Tina’s life will forever be cherished by her devoted son, Reid “JR” Duncan; granddaughter Danielle “Dani” Woods; grandson Derrick Woods, Jr.; great-grandsons Legend Woods and King Lopez; brothers Donneal Dembo (Helen), Ronie Dembo (Mary), Robert Dembo III (Juanita), and Fennis Dembo; sisters Zona Dembo Williams (Jerry Sr.), Janice Dembo Williams (Stephen Jr.), Jenett Sheppard (Gregory) and Fenise Broadnax (Raymond); brother-in-law Roland “Peanut” Duncan (Andria); and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Dembo Jr. and Clarissa Dembo; her husband, Reid Duncan Sr.; her beloved daughter, Angela Woods; her sister, Doretha Lighteard; and brother Jimmy Dembo.
