Michael Keith Duncan

Michael “Mike” Keith Duncan was born to Valgrace Duncan in San Antonio, Texas, on November 11, 1955.

Mike was a cool, gentle spirit who brought comfort and ease to everyone around him. He loved his family fiercely. He was always a proud big brother to his younger brother, Charles, and took his role seriously. He loved spending time with his cousins. Mike’s older cousins saw him as a little brother who grew into a man they deeply admired. To his younger cousins, he was a protector who made them feel safe, seen, and cared for. He carried a warmth that touched everyone around him. His kindness was effortless, his love genuine, and his loving spirit unforgettable.

Mike attended elementary schools in San Antonio and San Marcos, Texas; junior high schools in Fort Hood, Texas, and Butzbach, Germany; and high schools in Frankfurt, Germany. He was a 1974 graduate of Sam Houston High School in San Antonio, Texas.

Mike was a member of Agape Christian Church in San Antonio, Texas, and absolutely loved worshipping the Lord there under the leadership of Pastor Stuart Perryman.

Michael Duncan is preceded in death by his grandfather, Reverend C.L. Luddington; his grandmother, Geneva Luddington; and his father, Henry Morris Duncan.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Valgrace Duncan; his brother, Charles Duncan (Daisy); his sister, Diane Middlebrooks; his loving companion, Carolyn Benson; his niece, Jasmine Sutton (Christopher); his nephews, Maurice Lewis (Rachel), Desmond Duncan (Latasha), and Marvin Middlebrooks (Shawnee); and a host of relatives and close friends.
