Bob Sims, a loving brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2026, at the age of 74. He was born on September 5, 1951, and throughout his life, Bob was known for his jolly spirit, helpful nature, and easygoing personality.
Bob had a way of making people feel comfortable and welcome. He was the kind of person who was always willing to lend a helping hand and could bring a smile to those around him with his cheerful attitude and good-natured sense of humor. His laid-back personality and genuine kindness made him a wonderful brother, uncle, and friend, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Bob enjoyed the simple pleasures in life and always knew how to have a good time. He loved gambling and playing bingo, and he especially enjoyed spending time with his guitar. Whether enjoying one of his favorite pastimes or simply spending time with family and friends, Bob appreciated the moments that brought people together.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Ray Glen Sims and Gertrude Marie Dzenowski; brother-in-law Franklin Kruse; sister Cookie; and niece Brenda Kruse.
Left to cherish Bob’s memory are his siblings, Roy Sims and wife Roberta; Johnny Webb; Linda Fike and husband Terry; Diane Baker and husband Larry; Ray Sims and wife Shirley; Tina Kruse; Richard Sims; Rosemary Mosqueda and husband Joe; Susan; James; and Holly, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Bob leaves behind a lifetime of memories filled with laughter, music, good times, and the kindness he so freely shared with others. His jolly spirit, helpful heart, and easygoing nature will remain fondly remembered by everyone who knew and loved him.

Bill and I really enjoyed talking with Bobby for several years we lived close by always seeing him at the Shell getting our scratch offs or at HEB where I worked alongside with Tina. He was really a nice kind man .Rest In Peace Bobby
