Deborah Jean Rogers (Jeanie) was born to the late R.C. Rogers and Addie Rogers Phillip on July 10, 1953 in San Antonio, Texas. Jeanie grew up in the Shiloh Baptist Church and accepted Christ at an early age. Later, she united with the Willow Park Christian Church. She attended Brackenridge High School and the Saint Peter Claver Academy. After receiving an Associate's Degree in Accounting from St. Phillip's College, she began her career at Kelly Air Force Base. After four years with Kelly, she began working at Mrs. Baird's Bakery for thirty-one years and retired in 2007. Jeanie leaves to cherish her memories a brother, Nelson Rogers, a sister, Linda Rogers Gipson (Earl); a stepmother, Jacqueline McClinton "Mama Jackie"; stepbrothers, Garland, Russell (Terrie), Michael, and Herbert McClinton; sisters, Shiree (Anthony), Regina (Kenneth), and Rochelle; God-sisters, Carol Curry (Artis) and Mattie Johnson (Walter), and a host of relatives and friends. Jeannie was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents, her parents; siblings, Lula Stevenson, Anthony McClinton, and James Rogers "Roy Lee"; niece Billishea Galloway; nephew, Rashad McClinton (her buddy); grandniece Dayla Glover, and Godmother, Juanita Perry.
