John Francis Gallegos, Jr. "Sunshine" March 16, 1951- December 9, 2017 John Francis Gallegos, Jr. entered into eternal rest on December 9, 2017 at the age of 66. He was born March 16, 1957 in Bastrop, Tx to John Francis Gallegos, Sr. and Amelia Vela Gallegos. He is loved and will be greatly missed by his wife, Selma Gallegos; daughter, Leslie Lopez; grandchildren, Isaiah Mathew Lopez and Ileana "BabyGirl" Alyse Padilla; Also will be greatly missed by his daughter, Christine Leanne Turley (Gallegos) and Nick Turley; grandchildren, Benjamin Gallegos & Austin Raby; and numerous cousins to include Carmen Breshers (Jerry), Sylvia Chandler, Lee Gallegos (Brenda), Cynthia Velasquez, and Joseph Alvarez. He was loved by many other extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, John Gallegos, Sr.; mother, Amelia Vela Gallegos; brother, Adrian Gallegos; and sister Rebecca Gallegos. Memorial and mass services to be held on Thursday December 21, 2017 at Holy Name Catholic Church on 3814 Nash Blvd. starting at 11am.
