Lois "Lolo" Mike

Lois Steen Mike was born in Bloomington, Texas on July 19, 1950 to Maple and Colon Mike. Lois gave her life to Christ at an early age in Bloomington, Texas. Lois began her education in the Bloomington Independent School District, attending E. E. Hatchett. In 1964, Lois later moved to San Antonio, Texas where she attended James. W. Riley Jr. School. She also attended Brackenridge High School where she graduate in 1968. After graduating from high school, Lois would later attend Durham College and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business. Lois began her career working for Turbine in San Antonio, Texas. She later worked in the San Antonio Independent School District as a Teacher's Assistant at Jeff Davis Middle School. Lois (LoLo) loved her family and she never met a stranger. She also had a love for arts and crafts, where she would spend time crocheting. She is preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Maple and James W. Vaughns. Father Colon Mike, Sister Lorraine, brothers Saul & Roger Mike. Lois is survived by her daughters, Jacqueline A. Jackson and Taichun L. (Douglas) Skipper; Grandchildren, Courtney Mike, Eboni and Eureka Nious, Michael Diamon, DeSiree Skipper; Great-granddaughter, Danielle Tucker; Brothers, James L. (Celeste) Mike, Henry Mike, Sister C. Jeannine (Milton) Gibbons; Sister-in-law, Eloise A. Mike; Aunt, Stella Overton of Houston, Tx; Uncle, O.C. Mike of Houston, Tx; And a host of relatives and friends.
