"Keith" Verbel A. Keith, USAF (Ret.) a resident of Spring Branch, passed away on Monday, May 24, 2010 at his residence at the age of 75. Mr. Keith was born on August 21, 1934 in Portageville , MO to Albert Keith and Bennie Wrather Keith. His professional career was spent in the USAF, where he worked as a security policeman and later social actions. He served in Vietnam and was awarded a Bronze Star for extraordinary bravery. Survivors include sons, Mike Keith and wife Sharon, Dirk Keith; daughter, Angie Keith; step-daughter, Angela Smither; grandchildren, Amanda Jordan, Leah Charles, Jenna Cummings, Allison Nunnelee, Tara Keith, Sam Keith, Antoinette, Grant and Raven Smither. A memorial service with full military honors is scheduled for 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
