Flora Katipunan Litonjua-Palanca Our loving mother was born December 22, 1929 to the late Aurelio B. Litonjua, Sr. and Susana Katipunan; mommy has joined our dear Lord Jesus Christ last Friday, July 29, 2011. She is survived by her husband, Simeon J. Palanca, Jr.,. Mom and dad have shared and cherished sixty-two years of a wonderful married life. They have raised nine children: Bessie, Jane, Alex, Emery, Francis, Elen, Gemma, Toni Guia and Richard. She will be missed by her son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Her greatest joy was to see and take care of all her grandchildren especially Samantha who was able to spend unforgettable and happy moments in the last few years of her life. Her remains will be cremated in a private ceremony. The family will appreciate all your prayers for her.

To the Palanca Family, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your loved one. Flora was such a special person. When I went to the Phillipines with her and Emery, Flora did everything possible to make me have a good time. I will never forget the time I spent with her. It was the best vacation I ever had. I love you Flora.

Dear family of Momma Palanca as you were known here in Lewisburg Tennessee. We are sadden that you have left this earthy life. We know in our hearts that you are with our Lord. I will never forget the time that you, Jane, niece, & Papa Palanca stopped by our house on your way back to Texas, you all had been visiting in another state. We all had such a good time. Remember when the gang from Head Start would call you all wishing you happy new year before we had ours? The visits at Jane’s house we all had good times. We will all miss you . I am so very sorry to hear of Mama Palanca’s passing. She was such a sweet kind lady. She had a smile that would light up a whole room. I’ll never forget when they came to Tennessee to visit.
