Nellie Mae Schwartz

Nellie Mae Schwartz, age 89, our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and sister passed away on January 15, 2018. Nellie was born in Hays, Texas, on January 6, 1929, to Floyd White and Nellie Laura McMullen White. She was married to Fred H. Schwartz, Jr., who preceded her in death in 2005, for 53 years. Nellie and Fred lived in San Marcos, Texas, before they made San Antonio their home. Nellie is survived by her brother WD White of Arlington, WA, sister Mary Helen Millen of Katy, TX, son George Eastwood (wife Betty) of Marble Falls, TX, daughter, Sandy Luensmann (husband Buddy) of San Antonio, TX, son, Fred Schwartz III (wife Brenda) of San Antonio, TX, and daughter, Sheri Tucker (husband Mitch) of La Vernia, TX. Also, grandchildren Randy Luensmann (wife Jeannette), John Luensmann, Christy Bischoff (husband Carl), Fred IV, Melanie, Trevor, Chelsea Schwartz, Brandon and Reagan Tucker, and Cody and Melissa Eastwood. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild who all reside in and around San Antonio, TX. Graveside services will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 1:45 p.m. on Wednesday, February 7, 2018. A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, February 10, 2018, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Hollow Creek Ranch, 14361 La Vernia Road in St. Hedwig, TX. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Universal City Animal Care & Control Shelter, 134 Athenian Drive, Universal City, Texas, 78148 in memory of Nellie Schwartz & her beloved dogs.
