Jerry Dean Robertson

Jerry Dean Robertson, 62, of La Vernia, Texas passed away peacefully with family on Wednesday, March 15th, 2017 at his home. Born in San Benito, Texas, to James Robertson and Colene Farrer, he lived most of his life in the San Antonio and Aransas Pass area. Jerry enjoyed hunting, fishing, poker, old western movies, and cheese. His favorite pets were his two beloved Chihuahuas and best friends', both named "Stinky". He is preceded in death by his mother Colene Farrer and survived by his father James Robertson. He was very proud of his children, Kelli Leatherman of Adkins, Kristi Robertson Baez of Austin, Brandi Robertson of La Vernia, Lauren Robertson of San Antonio, and Paul Rome of San Antonio. He loved his grandchildren, Erika, Sarah, Ascher, Hayden, and Jaelynn. He is also survived by his two brothers, Jimmy Robertson with wife Mary and family; Doug Robertson with wife Penny and family; step-mother Tessa Robertson; step-father Donald Farrer; as well as his many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other friends. The family will gather to celebrate the life of Jerry on Wednesday, March 22nd, 2017 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at Life Church of La Vernia, 7079 FM 775, La Vernia, TX 78121.
