November 21, 1922 ~ October 13, 2016
Robert R Lutz was called home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 13th 2016 at the age of 93. Robert, (Bob), served as a pilot in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII and the Korean War. He graduated with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from The University of North Carolina. Robert was also a member of Free and Accepted Masons of the State of New York for 65 years as well as served as a Boy Scout Commissioner. Bob had a very successful career in upper management for several major corporations which he remained employed at well into his 70s. He lived a life of integrity and provided very well for his family. He had an appreciation for finer things such as Montivani orchestra, Country ham and anything stainless steel. Bob continued to have a love for aviation and when asked in his last few days what he would like to be doing he said "flying". During his time here on Earth he was blessed with his wife, Jacqueline Clair Lutz; three daughters, Karen Smalkowski and husband Joseph, Diane Bisek and husband Michael, Barbara Persyn and husband Steven; seven grandchildren, Stephanie, Holly, Annie, Sarah, Nick, Natalie, and Evan; and five great grandchildren, David, Elijah, Gwendolyn, Logan, and Emma. He will be greatly missed.
