Harry L. Heck III

harry heck iii
Harry Leroy Heck III has passed at the age of 42 on Tuesday September 20th 2011. He passed at North East Baptist hospital due to complications from thyroid cancer. LIFE Harry was born on July 5th, 1969 in Clear Lake, California to Colleen Heck and the late Harry Heck Junior. His passing was preceded by his brother Kevin Heck. Harry is survived by his sibilings; Christopher Heck, and Alfred Heck. He became a resident of San Antonio Texas where he met his life partner Karen Berger of 16 years. During their time together it was discovered that he too suffered from an aggressive thyroid cancer found that was also found in his brothers and his nephew. He fought this cancer bravely and valiantly before it finally overtook him. Though his cancer loomed over his life, he was always bright, helpful, and very caring to all of those around him. God blessed his loved ones, and bestowed upon him precious time that was never wasted, but instead spent living a fruitful life. A devoted husband, a guiding stepfather, and a diligent gifted employee are descriptions that hardly encompass his gentle influence on the lives he touched. River City Church welcomed him, bestowing the gift of baptism into the house of the lord before his passing. He was truly thankful for such support through God and the church, that continues to be supportive even after his death. FAMILY Harry's family is continued through his nephews Hayden Heck, Zachary Heck, and Colin Heck and his niece Analise Heck. SERVICE Services will occur Friday September 23rd 2011 at 5:30pm at his residence. END Memorial donations may be made to the National Cancer Society in his name. Sentiments can be sent to his mother Colleen via email at prunheck@att.net or on this website.
