Rogelio E. Castaneda

Rogelio E Castaneda, 57, went to be with the Lord on November 21, 2017 in Lexington, Kentucky. He is preceded in death by his mother, Elisa S Castaneda and Father, Pablo Castaneda. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Sandra E. Castaneda; two sons, Jeremiah J Adams, Arturo A Castaneda; daughter, Casandra R Uhrich; 6 Grandchildren, Damian, Henry, Matthew, Cainan, Elizabeth, and Elissa; 5 sisters, Maria Guadalupe Johnson, Maria Victoria Zamarripa, Maria De Lourdes Castaneda, Dora A. Soto, Irene McHazlette and 2 brothers Arturo S. Castaneda and Pilar Castaneda. The youngest of 18 children, Rogelio was a devoted family man who worked hard to provide for his family. He proudly gave 4 years of his life to the United States Marine Corps to serve and protect his country. As a father Rogelio was an active member in the PTA and had a very close relationship with his children. He was committed to his wife and marriage. He was also a skilled craftsman, woodworker, and also well known for his delicious cheesecakes. A devoted Spurs and Cowboys fan,Rogelio made it a point to never miss a game so that he could cheer on his favorite teams. With heavy hearts we ask for your presence in celebrating his life on December 7, 2017 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM for visitation and on December 8, 2017 at 8:30 AM for a religious service and burial shortly after.
