March 15, 1947 ~ May 1, 2018
Joy Lynn Nava, born March 15, 1947 in Flora, Illinois, passed away at the age of 71. Joy will be remembered for her unconditional love of family. She cared for everyone, including any cat or kitten she came across, enjoyed gardening and driving fast. We will miss her beautiful laughter. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law: Deborah Rittimann, Angela Sell (Mark), Caddis Bowling (Gary), Janet Schmelzer (Tim), Shanda Walker (Steve); son, Allen Sperry; brothers, Larry Stanford and Jimmy Joe Stanford; 12 Grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are the Simmons and Ebrom families. She is preceded in death by her parents Gladys and Francis Albert Stanford; her brothers, William Stanford and Robert Dean Stanford. In Lieu of flowers, please donate to your local animal shelter in Joy's name.
