Nancy Jo Jackson-Knight was born October 26, 1947 to Norman E. Jackson & Irene Hopkin Johnson. She attended Karnes County High School and St. Phillips College to further her education, obtaining a degree for Administrative Assistant. Nancy worked for the City of San Antonio Parks & recreation Dept. for 30 years where she retired from. She accepted Christ at a young age, her faith as strong in God. Nancy love spending time with her family and loved to travel. On Saturday, September 11, 2021, Nancy Jo Jackson-Knight, mother, daughter and sister, passed away suddenly at the age of 73. Nancy will be forever remembered by her loving family, friends, her precious children; Jeffrey Butler, James E. Avery “Jimmy”, Gwendolyn K. Jones; her siblings, Katherine L. Williams, Rodney L. Perryman, Elizabeth A. Williams, Billy W. Perryman, Gloria A. Newton (Frank) and Charline R. Perryman; grandkids, Keysha Butler, Kris Butler, LaTonya Butler, Danisha Butler, Tryiel Butler, Jeffrey Butler Jr., Marcus Jones, EJ Avery, Joshua, Richard Brooks, Lichelle Brooks. She will also be forever remembered by her numerous grandkids, nieces, nephews and extended family. She is preceded in death by her father, Norman E. Jackson; mother, Irene Hopkin Johnson; brothers, Curtis L. Perryman and Samuel Lee Perryman; sister, Linda Sue Perryman; and her two sons, Richard D. Avery and Christopher K. Knight.
