Aaron Major Godina, 18, gained his angel wings December 14, 2023. He was born July 19, 2005 in San Antonio, TX to Hector Alfonso and Shirley Ann Godina. Raised in Converse, Aaron was a fan of the Spurs and Dallas Cowboys.  Aaron attended Judson High School and was on track to graduate with the class of 2024 and was part of the Automotive Collision Club. Aaron enjoyed being physically active, He had played with the Chick-Fil-A Basketball Club and enjoyed playing flag football and basketball with his cousins and friends on Sundays. Aaron loved his family and loved traveling, going on  Disney cruises and spending time with the people he loved most. He was known for his great sense of humor and always being friendly with everyone made it easy to make friends and was someone you could count on. Aaron had a strong faith in God and loved being a part of Community Bible Church. He had volunteered a time and would helped with the youth group, always setting an exemplary example to those that looked up to him. Always a servant of God, Aaron was also planning on serving his country by enlisting in the US Air Force and was looking forward to continue with his dream upon graduating. Aaron was a loving son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend. He will be dearly missed by all of us, but we have some comfort knowing that he was greeted in Heaven by his father and left a lasting imprint in all of our hearts.

Aaron is preceded in death by his father, Hector Alfonso Godina and his maternal grandparents Gloria and Andres Apreciado .

Left to cherish his memory are his loving mother, Shirley Ann Godina; sister, Amethyst Starr Godina; grandparents, Maria Elena Garcia and Nana, Ernestina Arista; Godparents, Robert and Elba Muñoz; his beloved cat, Yoda and his seven fishes; extended family and friends.
