Alfonso J. Trevino, Jr.

Alfonso "Joe" Trevio, died peacefully on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at the age of 69. He was known as Joe to his family and as Al to many of his friends. Joe was born in San Antonio, TX on May 11, 1944. He attended St. Henry's Catholic School and graduated from Burbank High School. He was preceded in death by his wife Dolores Esquivel Trevio, his grandmother, Florinda M. Gutierrez, his mother, Anita Rodriguez, his father, Alfonso "Poncho" Trevio, his brother, Larry Trevio and his nephew, Vincent Trevio. He is survived by his children, Brenda T. Hemberger and husband Don, Al Trevio III, Lisa A. Trevio and Sonia M. Trevio; sisters Alma Hernandez and Lorraine Trevio and brother Bobby Trevio and wife Melba; grandchildren Racine, Richard Ryan, Erika, Steven, Barbnal, Johnny, Cillian and Maeve; 2 nieces and 4 nephews. Joe loved to read, do crossword puzzles and keep up on current events. He especially loved sports; most beloved were his Dallas Cowboys. There wasn't a fact unknown to him about his Dallas Cowboys and he loved to share this knowledge with his family and friends he was a very intelligent man and he actually knew something about everything! He loved his family and he will be deeply missed.
