Wilma was born on May 8, 1927 in Indianapolis, Indiana to parents John Edgar Day and Gertrude Heyman Day. As the boys grew up—Wilma entered the workforce dedicating 18 years at USAA retiring in 1986 when her first grandchildren were born. She was a proud member of the USAA Golden Eagle Club, further Wilma and David were founding members of St. Francis Episcopal Church, which built lifelong friendships and commitment to their faith.

  1. Oh Wilma, what a beautiful and happy life you seemed to have lived. Sam & I have been so blessed to have known you all these years. I remember losing touch with you for years while raising our boys and then one day you walked into the Christopher Columbus Spaghetti dinner with your lady friends. I walked up to you thinking you wouldn’t remember me and by gosh you did. How could I ever forget you and Sammy. You made Sam’s day when he saw you there.
You will be missed and loved forever Wilma.

  2. Chad, my sincere condolences to you and your family on the passing of your mom. Heaven received another angel. May she RIP.
