Alma M. Olmedo was born in Tampico, Mexico July 30, 1937 to parents Daniel Olmedo and Concepcion Ramirez. She passed away to be with the Lord the night of June 20, 2023, surrounded by her family.

Alma was nothing short of an extraordinary Mother, Sister, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Aunt. She will always be remembered for her generous spirit and huge heart. Alma was very active in the Church and had a personal relationship with her Lord and Savior, often volunteering and helping those in need. Throughout her life, she developed long lasting friendships and was a second mother to many. She loved music, singing, and dancing. She loved her family and enjoyed getting together to celebrate birthdays, graduations, special occasions, or just because.

Alma is preceded in death by her sisters Celia Guerrero, Ruth Flores, and Elizabeth Iser, Brothers Salvador Ferro and Gamaliel Olmedo. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Patricia Davis (husband George) and Leticia Murillo (husband Mark Martinez) as well as her son Ralph O. Murillo. She is also survived by grandchildren, Justin (wife, Alejandra), Orlando Joshua ( wife, Melani), Jacob, Stephen, great-grandchildren Jaxson and James, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Alma leaves behind a life and legacy that will not soon be forgotten. She will be missed dearly by all that had the pleasure of knowing her.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Emmanuel United Methodist Church in memory of Alma.
