Amalia M. Paiz

Amalia M. Paiz went to be with the Lord Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at the age of 75. She was born in Rodriguez Nuevo Leon, Mexico September 1, 1947, to the late Amalia Arismendez Martinez and Margarito Martinez. She was a very loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Amalia was humble and kind; she never met a stranger that she wouldn’t help or judge, she accepted everyone the way God made them. Her strong faith in her Lord kept her positive and outgoing, like she would always say “God is in control”. She would always put her family first.

They all enjoyed family time at the beach, fishing and collecting shells. Although she struggled at times with her illness, she never complained. She would smile and give all her love. She taught her family to be strong willed and remember God is in control. The day before she passed, Mom said, “I love everyone”.

She is preceded in death by her parents. Amalia will be dearly missed by her husband of 47 years, Stephen Paiz Jr.; children: Vera Linda Ayes (David), Suzanne Santin (Esteban), Robert Cruz (Leticia), Michael Paiz and Rachel Hernandez; grandchildren, Lauren, Kimberly, Kaitlin, Esteban Jr., Emily, Diego, Fabian, Evie, Sadie Amalia, Alina, Zane, Natalie, Andrea, Aaron, Briana, Sage; great-grandchildren, Levi, Luke, Leo Kameron and Maia; siblings: Rodolfo, Maria Luisa, Margarita, Estella.
