On July 11, 2024, Andrew Benford Jr. made a peaceful transition to eternal everlasting life. On June 27, 1944, Andrew Benford was born to the union of Andrew Benford Sr. and Reva Hughes Benford. Andrew accepted Christ at an early age attending church with his mother.
On December 5, 1968, Andrew was joined in Holy Matrimony to Joyce Holland. To this loving union one child was born: A beautiful daughter, Reva. Andrew was educated through San Antonio, TX public school system. Where he attended Breckenridge High School. After high school, he joined the United States Air Force where he served for 20 years. While serving in the Air Force as a Security Forces Police Officer he received his college education from Georgia Military College. After retiring from the Air Force, he began a career with the US Postal Service where he retired after 20 years. Andrew loved life, he enjoyed traveling with his family, and this became even more special when his grandchildren were born. He accompanied them to many places throughout the world. He certainly enjoyed going to the beach; if there was a beach, it was one of his favorite places to visit. He also enjoyed sports, especially football. He was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan.
He is preceded in death by his parents and two siblings, Vera March and Geneva Fuller.

Andrew leaves to cherish his precious memories: A loving daughter and dedicated son in law: Reva and Tim Teamer of Warner Robins, Ga. Grandchildren: Taelor, Timothy II, and Tristyn Teamer A very special niece and nephews: Deirdre Anderson (Ray) of Chicago, IL, Malcom March (Shirley) of Chandler, AZ, and William Fuller Jr. (Kimberly) of Houston, TX. His precious sister: Margo Scott-Bright of San Antonio, TX. His brothers: Maurice Fifer of Kyle, Tx. and Michael Fifer of Kerrville, TX. A host of other nieces, nephews, loved ones, close friends, and many military families.
