Ann “Toni” New Jordan passed away on January 17, 2023. She was 83 years old. She is survived by two children, James Jordan, Jr. and Sarah Jordan Presutti and four grandchildren, Jack and Brooke Jordan and Isabella and John Presutti. She is also survived by her two brothers, Albert “Ned” New and David New and her nephews Rob and Ben New. Toni was born in Waynesville, North Carolina, but spent most of her life in Pensacola, Florida and the coastal cities of Texas. She is a survivor of the Texas City explosion in 1947 where she attended grade school. Toni later attended Pensacola Junior College and SMU. She became a realtor, but in her spare time she was an artist, gardener and lover of cats. She was an avid golfer and she loved to travel.
Toni will be remembered by those who knew her well for her curious mind and creativity. She had a great thirst for knowledge and a passion to share her ideas and thoughts with her family and friends. Her compassion to guide others in times of stress and trouble will be remembered by those that loved her in this life. We know that she is happy to be reunited with her family (especially her pets) that passed before her.
