MY ALPHA TO OMEGA
Out of 14 children, I was the fourth gift of life and blessing given to my parents Raymond B. Ferguson Sr & Ruth Edith Johnson on 9 June 1934 in Lynchburg, Virginia.
I was given the name Arminthia Annette Ferguson.
I received my education in the Amherst County School District in the graduating class of 1952 at Amherst County High School and attended St Philips Business College for typing.
I was united in Holy Matrimony to Army Veteran Robert L. Moore on 18 June 1955 in Lynchburg, Virginia.
For many years I cared for children in my home and taught them how to write their name before they went to school.
I accepted Jesus Christ at an early age at Galilee Baptist Church, under Pastor Reverend Clapton.
Later on, I became a faithful active member of the South Lynchburg Baptist Church as Sunday School superintendent, choir president and seamstress for the choir.
During my adult Christian life, I received my licensing to preach the Gospel in October 1987 at the Brookeville Baptist Church under Pastor Reverend William Coleman.
Moved to San Antonio, Tx and became an active member of the Resurrection Baptist Church under Pastor Ray D. Brown, Sr.
As a maturing Christian I received my graduating certificate from the Evangelism Process and was involved in the Shearers Intake ministry and the Senior Saints ministry. My favorite song is “This Little Light of Mine” and my favorite scripture is Psalm 23
My parents, brothers Raymond Ferguson Jr, Theodore R, Wayne B, Clarence B and Devon Ferguson (infant), Delma (infant), and great granddaughter Naomi Williams (infant) preceded me in death.
I am survived by 7 siblings: Sylvester Ferguson (Francis), Freddie O. Ferguson (Vernestine), Randall M. Ferguson (Glenda), Carenthia F. Nowlin, Blondie F Anderson, Ora D. Hunter all of Lynchburg, VA and Phyllis F. Watkins (John) of Orlando, FL.
Embracing my legacy and precious memories are my 3 children: Angelia R. Proctor of Orlando, FL, Kelvin L. Moore (Ramonia) of Lynchburg, VA and Andrea R. Nedrick (Patrick) of San Antonio, TX; 7 grandchildren: Brandi N. James (Rob), Marques L. (Kim) and Mario L (Lysa) Moore. Danielle C. Williams (Jerel), Victor C Proctor, Aaron M.
