Audrey V. Dent

Audrey V. Dent was born in Xenia, Ohio on March 14, 1926 to Russell Dent and Lorella Henderson Dent. She departed this life on January 15, 2009. Audrey accepted Christ at an early age. She graduated form Hillsboro High in Hillsboro, Ohio. She also furthered her education at Bliss Business School in Columbus, Ohio. She dedicated a lot of time to the American Legion Post 828. Audrey married Benjamin Carr and to this union they were blessed with five children. Audrey worked at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. She moved to San Antonio, Texas in 1968 and continued working Civil Service at Lackland Air Force Base. She retired on January 1, 1988 from Lackland Air Force Base (USAF). She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and one daughter, Claudia Jean Carr; sister Nina Dent of Dayton, Ohio; three brothers, Harold Dent of Columbus, Ohio, Russell Dent of San Antonio, Texas and Richard Dent of Decatuec, Georgia. Audrey leaves to cherish her memory, three sons, Thomas Carr (Ella), Grant Carr (Sylvia) of San Antonio, Texas and Claude Carr of Dayton, Ohio; daughter Vanessa Carr McDaniel (Harold) of San Antonio, Texas; grandchildren; great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
