Barry Wendell Hunt, born August 6, 1953, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2025. Born to Clinton Hunt and Joan Elaine Guilliams, Barry lived a life defined by service, love, and unwavering dedication to his family.
A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, Barry embodied the values of hard work, generosity, and loyalty – extending into civilian work with Scott Paper, ICEE and Ricos. Family was at the heart of everything Barry did—he was a devoted husband, a hands-on father, and a proud grandfather who never missed a game, recital, or milestone.
He shared 52 wonderful years with his beloved wife, Billie Hunt, traveling and building a life filled with love and laughter. Barry is survived by his sons, Bradley (Kimberly) and Bryant (Angela); granddaughters, Kaitlyn, Hailey and Samantha; great-grandson, Kayce; and brothers, Larry and Robert Hunt. He is preceded in death by his wife, parents, sister Pamela Hopkins, and four angel babies.
