Born in: Beeville, Texas
Resided in: San Antonio, Texas

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Betty J. Bateman, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who left us peacefully on March 4, 2025. She was 84 years old.

Betty was a woman whose heart was as vast as her love for those around her. Her generosity knew no bounds, and she made it her life’s mission to care for and uplift those she loved. A devoted wife mother, grandmother, and sister, she cherished every moment spent with family, always making those around her feel valued and seen.

Her wit and directness made her a joy to be around. She had an uncanny ability to make people laugh, even in the most difficult times, and her candid nature was always appreciated by those who knew her best. Beneath her sharp humor was an even sharper kindness—one that was always ready to listen, to offer a helping hand, and to show her love in the simplest of ways.

She will be remembered for her warm heart, her caring spirit, and her ability to bring light into any room she entered. Her legacy lives on through her children and grandchildren, who will continue to feel the warmth of her love and the strength of her unwavering support.

Betty was a constant presence in the lives of those fortunate enough to know her, and while her physical presence may no longer be with us, the love she shared will remain forever in our hearts.
