beverly jones
Beverly G. Jones was called home to be with Jesus on March 3, 2013. Born on April 5, 1939 in San Antonio to Bessie Anna Thompson and William Milton Thompson. Beverly graduated from Burbank High School. Every month she enjoyed meeting the Burbank Buddies for dinner. Beverly loved her group of Bunco Girls. She was so blessed to have the love and friendship of many. She was a member of the Conservation Society and volunteered at NIOSA for over 30 years, and served as a greeter for5 years and member of Oak Hills Church for 8 years. She worked at HQ40th Army, Region 20, Frost Bank, and Merchandiser Representative for Liz Claiborne and other lines. Beverly gave from her heart and enjoyed her life to the fullest. Her smile lit up a room and her laugh was always contagious. She made any and all occasions extra special with her amazingly special touches. She was deeply loved and cherished by her survivors: Her daughter Delisa Dawn Jones Reynolds, her son Bradley William Jones, sister Carolyn Thompson Miller, grandchildren, Alexis Dawn, Trent, and Grant Reynolds. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband William A. Jones, her parents, and brother in law Larry C. Miller. A celebration of life will be held at Oak Hills Church at 1:00pm, on Friday, March 8, 2013. In lieu of flowers, Beverly would love donations to Oak Hills Church, Crown Ridge.

  1. Out thoughts and prayers are with the family. Beverly was such a lovely woman. She will be missed.

  2. I was so sorry to read about Beverly. I met her when our boys were in pre school, and was with her many times after that with her friend, and my neighbor, Elaine. She was always so much fun, and the life of the party. Heaven will be a livlier place with her in it! My thoughts and prayers are with you.

  3. Beverly’s smile and bright personality will always be remembered! I had the privilege of meeting Beverly when I taught her son Brad in 7th grade Science! How proud she was of her children! God bless her and her family!
