Memories Timeline

  1. CandleImageIt truly does take a village to raise a child. This woman is a part of my village in the moments of hearing of her passing I was overwhelmed with emotion. I will always remember her smile and her voice. I love you. I honor you and I appreciate the Christ in you. Thank you for being in my village.

  2. Gary & Mary Johnson
Beverly’s soft spirit and gentleness of heart was felt when she invited me to her home and offered me friendship and a warm meal. Beverly will truly be missed. My sincere condolences to the Manning family.

  3. CandleImageSee you in the first Resurrection when the Messiah set up the kingdom of Yah here on earth, until then rest in the bosom of Abraham with daddy, mama, Iva, and grandmama

  4. CandleImageIt was an honor to serve with Beverly on the praise team at Faith Based Institute. I enjoyed the Times we spent talking while fixing your hair.
See You on the other side my Sista

  5. I gained a wonderful sister in Eboni when her and Joey married. Didn’t know I was gaining another mother like figure. Mrs. Manning was so gracious to us every time we came over. I loved how she prayed over her grandchildren every time I saw her. She preached, and modeled, the role of Godly women in the household. Her example will be carried on through her children and grandchildren. I find peace knowing she is with our Savior. My prayers and hugs are with you all. Love, Jon Ray and family.

  6. CandleImageAunt Beverly had a kind spirit and was full of integrity. She lived what she believed, loved her family, was God fearing and loads of fun. An alive soul she brought light and joy to a room and engaged people with warmth and sincerity. She will be missed but her legacy lives on in all she touched as she showed us how to live and used every interaction to show how much she loved us. Thank you Aunt Beverly for bringing love, light, joy and care into our lives. We are better because of you.

    • Words fail to express how I feel about the loss of my beloved sister: yet I am comforted knowing that she rests in perfect peace. In a place made just for her, guarded by her Angel unto the day of resurrection, for that is the promise given by TMH YAH for those that love him.

  7. When I learned that Beverly passed, I was heart broken. Beverly was my sister and my friend for about 34 years or so. She was my prayer partner, my encourager and a wise counselor. we share so may things over the years, family time, food, laughter and most of all nuggets in the word of God. My heart is very heavy and my mind is still trying to comprehend her absents from this world. I don’t have enough words to say how much I’m going to miss her presence. Sleep in peace my sister/ my friend. I will love you forever.

  8. I know you are in everlasting peace wishing if we could only know how wonderful it is. I know I am a little selfish in my earthly feelings because you are not a phone call away. But you are with the Ancestors and in the loving arms of THE MOST HIGH. I love you Beverly.

  9. CandleImageMy deepest condolences to you David and Chakka and the rest of your family. Y’all are in my 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 and I pray for your strength during this time and the time to come

  10. CandleImageHeaven has received an angel. As we look at the circle of life many times it seems unfair. In these times we must not be selfish with ourselves but thankful to the lord. For his mercy, for his grace, for keeping his doors open so that another one of us can live everlasting in his kingdom. Our hearts and prayers are with you.

  11. CandleImageSis. Beverly was truly a prayer warrior, a seer, a comic and my choir buddy while at New Life Christian Center. My sincere condolences to her husband, children, grandchildren, other family members and friends. Her absence will be felt on earth, but her spirit will live on. May God’s loving arms hold, comfort and strengthen your entire family during this time and the moments to come.

  12. We were sadden to hear of Beverly’s transition. We are here to support you Dave, as time pass and as you return to life’s routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of everyone around you. We have been Friends for 42+ years and just a phone call away. We would like to share these words from the scripture that might offer solace, Matthew 5:4 reads “Blessed are they that mourn; for they shall be comforted.”

  13. Dave, we send our message of love and prayers to the Manning family on the loss of the family Matriarch. 16. cemeteryHeaven has gained a beautiful angel. Beverly touched so many lives and always had the brightest smile. Rest easy sister until we meet again.

  17. My beautiful wonderful cousin. Yah’s special Servant. I will be strong as I know where you are. I love you! Always…

  18. CandleImageMy dearest Sister Beverly, words cannot express the sorrow that I feel. You were the big sister that I bragged about to my friends because you were such a great role model as a big sister, wife, confidant and friend.
I love you and you will be truly missed; but I know on my heart that you are home with my Lord, our Grandparents, Ma and Iva. Until we meet again!
    RIp my dear big sister!

  19. CandleImageDear Beverly,
You were one of the few left that married for many years, maintained your home as a Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Friend, and Family! The person we could call and connected with all of your siblings! Beverly, you successfully bridged all of your Dad’s children and loved all unconditionally!
You are already missed- one way for us to carry on your legacy, is for us to break through any past challenges and look at the positives going forward in Life! You were/are the Peace Maker!
“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called the Children of the Most High God!” Matthew 5:9
    Love, Charlene
