Billy P. Dixon
April 15, 1928 ~ November 14, 2008
Billy Pat Dixon passed away quietly on Friday, November 14, 2008 after a short illness in San Antonio at the age of 80. Bill was born in Lindal, Texas on Apr. 15, 1928.
He served in both the Korean and Vietnam wars and retired from the USAF in 1977 as a MSGT and was a life member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign War.
Bill lived his life to the fullest and was always the jokester. Quick witted, generous and a humble man. Most importantly he discover the key to life - to love is to be loved. He will be greatly missed as a husband, as a father and as a friend.

I know I was just getting to know you but I loved and respected you for many reasons; You were a great man, Grandfather, friend and most of all husband to my only Grandmother. Dad was blessed to have so many loving caring friends and family. His wife was his heart and always stood by him everywhere and always. He is already missed and we are blessed with the examples he left behind for us all to share. “Be nice, be thoughtful and be sharing with your love.”
