Bobbye Joyce Poston

Bobbye Joyce Poston, 67, of San Antonio, Texas passed away on February 21, 2017 in her home in San Antonio, Texas. Bobbye was adopted by Hollis and Gladys Williams in San Antonio on July 8th, 1949. Bobbye went on to marry Ronald Poston on October 4th, 1969. They were married for 19 years and had 5 children together. Bobbye graduated from San Antonio College in 1969. Bobbye had a passion for caring for the elderly. She worked as a nurse in several nursing homes throughout her life. She loved horses and told stories of spending time with her father in the stables, much to the chagrin of her mother. She is proceded in death by both of her parents. She is survived by her 5 children: Michael Poston of San Antonio, TX; David Poston of Nicholasville, KY; Steve Poston of Battle Ground, WA; Lisa Valdez of Kerrville, TX , and Brian Poston of San Antonio, TX. A memorial service will be held at 10am March 2nd at the Latter Day Saints chapel located at 2103 St. Cloud Rd. All are welcome to celebrate Bobbye's life.

I met Bobbye when I was 18 years old and now I am 64. That is a lot of years to be great friends.I would babysit Bobbye’s son Michael while her and Ron went out.I met Roger while babysitting, so he would come over to help me babysit. He was also on the Shenandoah in Norfolk.I have a lot more memories of Bobbye.RIP my beautiful friend.I love and greatly miss you. You are one of a kind! You will always be in my heart. May God be with your family and help them through this.I will be here if you all need anything even to talk.I know all of you kids since you were little.
