Carmen Rios Bleyle

Sadly our beloved Carmen Rios Bleyle, 76 of San Antonio, Texas and formally of Mobridge, South Dakota passed away on February 11, 2025. After a sort battle with cancer. Carmen was born August 26, 1948 to the late Domingo and Aurora Rios in Knox City, Texas.
In June of 1970 she married the love of her life Jacob Sievart Bleyle from this union four daughters, one son and two nieces formed a beautiful family. Over the years Carmen and Jacob welcomed more then 350 foster kids into their home. Carmen was a small person with a large personality. She was kind, loving, funny ball of fire. She always had an open door policy to anyone who needed a bit to eat or a place to rest. Her opinion was always brutally true and was given free of charge to anyone. Carmen enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing, camping and watching birds. Her family will miss the delicious food she would cook.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Jacob S. Bleyle, daughter, Jessica Bleyle, granddaughter, Tosha Ann Simmons, great-grandson Danilo Tulio Guerrero Duarte, parents, Domingo and Aurora Rios, sister Olivia Rios Andrade, her special fur baby, Daisy.
Carmen will be dearly missed by her children; JoAnn (Barry) Schmidt of San Antonio, TX, Joni (Donnie) Swift of Mobridge, SD, Carmen (Castillo) Bleyle of Souix Fall, SD, Shawn Bleyle of Eureka, SD, Crystal Bleyle of St. Paul, Minnesota, Tabatha Bleyle of Mobridge, SD; grandchildren, Erica (William Sr.) Clark, Kasandra (Matthew) Conrad, Chris Jacob Luis Gavin Santana, Quincey Mack Tyral and Marayha; great-grandchildren, William Jr., Phillip Clark, Nevaeh, Bella and Ryder Conrad, Luciano Daurte; sisters, Ernestina Rios, Eloisa (Manuel) Santiago; brother, Guadalupe Rios. She also leaves behind relatives broken hearted including many nieces and nephews, countless friends that became family.
