Carmina "Carrie" Gonzales

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Carmina Gonzales, affectionately known as “Carrie,” entered eternal rest on October 1, 2022, at the young age of 66. She was born in San Antonio, Texas to parents: Rudolfo G. Gonzales and Ramona P. Penalver on September 5, 1956.

Carmina was a woman of God and attended Northside Community Church. She met and married the love of her life, Humberto Garcia, in 1989. She inspired him to become a better person, and the two shared a devoted union of 33 years. She was a loving wife and mother. She always put her family first.

Carmina enjoyed working in the field of hospitality, where her passion for customer service comforted many guests. She worked until she was unable, but her nurturing love continued with her family and many friends. The strength she demonstrated was beyond many could endure, but she continued to fight hard, despite the trials and tribulations in her life. Her legacy will be carried on through her family and close friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Rudolfo G. Gonzales and Ramona P. Penalver; her sons: Christian P. Cisneros and Kevin A. Cisneros; and her brothers: Rudolfo Gonzales and Edward Gonzales.

She leaves in her memory, her husband: Humberto Garcia, her son: David R. Garcia; her grandchildren: Amy Acosta, Joseph Garcia, and Sarah A. Garcia; her great grandchildren: Nathan Ruiz, Benjamin Acosta, and Sebastian Acosta; her brother: Paul Gonzales; her sisters: Delia Gonzales and Diane Gonzales; many other relatives, and dear friends.
