Tia, I hope I made you proud. During these last couple of months, I had the honor and pleasure of spending quality time with you, even if it was in the hospital, at the rehab place or the short time you came home. I enjoyed our time together watching your novelas or playing bingo while we past the time. I am so delighted to call you my aunt. You always had the greatest parties. The Friday evening before your passing, I had the pleasure of seeing you one last time, I play each moment of that evening back in my mind, wishing if I had only maybe realized that your tiredness was from what was about to occur and not that you had been to rehab and the walking/ or riding the stationary bike was the reason. I am so grateful that we had shared communion and a prayer before I left for the evening. When it was time for me to leave, you would always say “Thank you for visiting me and I love you”, this night was no different as I left I said goodnight and I loved you, I wasn’t sure when I was going to come back but w recalling telling you I would be back soon. Unfortunately the last time was at the hospital, where I spoke to you reminding you of the time we spent together and that I would see you again. I hope to come to visit me from time to time especially when I need or miss you dearly because you’ve left a hole in my heart that will never be replaced.
