Cathy M. Herpich, age 59, died June 23, 2012. Mrs. Herpich received her undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and a MLIS, Master of Library & Information Science from the University of Texas in Austin. She was a member of the American Library Association. Mrs. Herpich was preceded in death by her mother, Catherine Weiss Lewis. She is survived by her husband, David Herpich. Brother and Sister-in-law; Steven & Maria Lewis. Father, John A. Lewis. Funeral services will be held 9:30 am, Friday, June 29, 2012 at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Animal Defense League of Texas.

Our sympathies to family and friends. I am the daughter of Isabelle (Lewis) Mickelson.
Our deepest sympathy goes to the family. Cathy and I have worked on Lewis family genealogy and had a common interest in our ancestors. She has been a wonderful friend/cousin throughout the years and will be truly missed. May God hold and comfort each of you.
I remember Cathy well from her time volunteering in the ADL hospital and her work with the cats in the cattery. She was so friendly and helpful. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
