Cecilia "Lea" Sawyer

Cecilia Sawyer was passed into the hands of God on May 7, 2016, at the age of 88. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many. Born in Vertineglio Italy on August 11, 1927, she was raised in Trieste Italy. Mama came to the United States in 1959. She soon learned to love this country as her own. She was the best mother to her children and will be greatly missed by them all. Cecilia is preceded in death by her mother (Fosca), father (Abele), husband (Gerald O. Sawyer) and son (Roger W. Sawyer. She is survived by her son (Gerald Sawyer and wife Giselle), her daughter (Donna J. Cole and husband John), her son (Duane A. Sawyer), her grandchildren (Roger, Andrea, Christopher, Jacob, Jason and Jaydon) her great grandchildren (Jakob, Lauren, Jordan and Devontae), her sister (Antonia Chicco) and her nephews (Livio, Dario and John) Mama, may you Rest in Peace now and know that we will always love you and have you in our hearts.
