Carol, Marty, Mike, Marta and Mark, Charlie brought a lot of laughter to the world. We shared his e-mail with a lot of others. He sure earned his nickname “clown”. I’m not sure if you received my condolences sent previously, but if not, I would like to make a donation in Charlie’s name to a favorite charity, maybe the Great Dane Rescue, or some other charity that you think he may have wanted to help with. If one of you would care to write me back and let me know. I hope you find the peace you need to get through this difficult time. God bless and take care of you all. Cheryl & Lynn Manley
Charlie will always be one of the best people I’ve ever known. He will be missed by me.
How sad it is that Charlie is gone. We, at BSBB as well as many other groups he contributed to, will miss his delightful toons that made us smile and laugh even on the darkest days. Yet, I am sure, that Charlie is making the angels smile in heaven.

It was a shock to hear about charlie. He was such a special person to me.One of the best brother-in-laws you could ever ask for! He had such a big and soft heart. Always had a way to make you laugh and smile even on your worst of days!No body had as many jokes as charlie, He had one for everything.Everytime i would remember one he would tell another and I would forget the one before that, So i just gave up and had him start writting them down for me.So many good memories! ” Charlie remember to look in the pot before you go back for seconds!” You never know what those angels will serve you. lol My heart, thoughts, and prayers are with you and your family at this very difficult time.May you rest in peace!
