Charles E. DeLaney, LT.COL., USAF (Retired) 88, passed away Saturday, Oct. 27th at his home in San Antonio. Charles is survived by his wife, Noella, two children, Craig Delaney and Janet Burditt. Six grandchildren also survive. A Graveside Memorial Service is scheduled for 9:30 AM, Friday, Nov. 2nd at Fort Sam Houston Natl. Cemetery. Dear Noella, Janet and Craig: It’s been many years since we’ve seen all of you but we want you to know how sorry we are for your loss. Uncle Chuck was quite a character and I have many memories of him in my childhood and teen years. Mom, Dad, Deb, Uncle Chuck and I threw snowballs at midnight in our back yard after a brief Christmas Eve snow back in 1975 in Wichita Falls! Our prayers are with you during these next days.
