Charles Murphy Smart passed away Thursday, June 8, 2023 at the age of 61 years. Charlie affectionally known by his family was born in San Antonio, Texas March 10, 1962 to the late Sofia and Terrell Smart. He graduated from McCollum high school class of 1980. Charlie was a free spirit and enjoyed long rides on his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. He enjoyed the outdoors with family fishing, hunting and cold beverages. During his working career he was employed with Texas A&M San Antonio University. Charles was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and San Antonio Spurs.
Charlie will be dearly missed by his brother, Terrell Smart Jr. (Stephanie); sister, Charlotte Day (Kenneth); two nephews, Derek and Dylan; numerous other relatives and friends.

I am saddened by his death and I will always remember him as a child of God he was a wonderful nephew and I will miss the memories of his childhood. May you now rest in peace. Just remember that you may be gone but not forgotten.
