Chester V. Green passed on Saturday, June 27, 2009 in San Antonio at the age of 75. He was born on November 6, 1933 in Harwood, TX to Aster Lee Green and Odessa Henry Norwood. Chester is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Eula Mae Davis; brothers, L.V. Jackson, Willie Ray Weddington and Aster Lee Green, Jr. Survivors include his loving wife of 13 years, Ruby Harris Green; three step-children, Clarice Nelden, Charles Etta Nelden and Charles Nelden; brothers, Billie Green of San Antonio, Franklin Jackson of Waco and Elijah Green, also of Waco; first cousins, Alberta Miller and husband Johnnie, of San Antonio, Olivia Richardson and husband Rev. Jim and Vernis Henry and wife Peggy, of San Antonio. In addition, Mr. Green is also survived by a host of additional family and friends.

Carolyn and I would like to share our deepest sympathy with you my cousin and Family. Chester will truly be missed by all of his family, may God Rest His Soul. We loved Chester and will miss him dearly especially for Thanksgiving dinner which had become a custom for you and Chester. Memories are the legacy of Love.
