Life's Journey On February 15, 2014, Clayton Smith, Sr., answered the Master's call to "Come Home". Clayton passed away peacefully at the Vitas Care Center in San Antonio, Texas. He was 79 years old. Clayton Smith Sr. was born in San Antonio, Texas on March 22, 1934, along with his twin brother, Clinton Smith to the late Clifton Smith, Sr. and the late Mae Ella Smith Stevenson. He united in Holy matrimony to Shirley Wilridge and to this union three children were born; Clayton " Timey" Smith, Larry "Frog" Smith, Clint "Sam" Smith. His wife, Shirley Ann; brothers, Clifton "Little Brother" Smith, Jr., Clinton Smith (his Twin) and his sister, Evelyn F. Allen proceded him in death. Clayton was a loving father, brother, grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend who will be greatly missed. Clayton leaves to cherish his memory five sons, Clayton Smith, Jr., Larry Smith, Clint Smith, Lowell C. "Low" Smith and Deundray "Stink" Thomas; two stepsons, James "Man" Napple, and Terance Houston; three stepdaughters, Charlotte Wilson, Dourthy Chance and Ardelia Robertson; two brothers, Will E. Smith Sr. and Lenard Stevenson, Sr.; three sisters, Gladys Williams, Geneva Lewis and Beauty Jackson all of San Antonio, Texas, and a very special friend, Leola Steward as well as a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
